We had a tremendously busy schedule last week! It seemed to move very fast. I have started conferences. If you need a new time or need to reschedule please let me know. I will send home a second scheduling letter this week. Please encourage your children to practice math facts at home. Addition and subtraction facts will be one of our main math focuses. Xtramath and flash cards make good quick practices when the students are at home. Everyone has received their new AR goal. We showed lots of progress in the last 9-weeks. I will be trying to encourage more nonfiction books going home. The students are told to read non fiction 2-3 times before taking an AR quiz. We will be learning about storms and poetry this week during our reading time. If you have any questions please send me a note. Have a great week! -Mr. McDannald | Reminder: |

Welcome back to school from the break. We have lots to do to be prepared for this 9-weeks. We will be retaking STAR tests to put in place our new AR goals . The students will also start working towards nonfiction goals this grading period. Speaking of grades, report cards go home this week. Be on the lookout for those on Wednesday. If you have questions about the report card please bring those to our Parent-Teacher conference. I will send home a second letter to give everyone a chance to meet with me. Please let me know if I need to reschedule any of those. Fall pictures are coming up. Be on the lookout for a notice in the next day or so. Also, colder weather is here. Please make sure your child is prepared to go outside everyday with appropriate clothing. Thank you! -Mr. McDannald | Reminder: |
